What CalcCaddy processes, what stays in your browser, and how regional estimates work.

Updated September 6, 2026

No account required

CalcCaddy does not require an account. Numbers entered into calculators are processed in your browser and are not sent to CalcCaddy as calculator records.

Regional estimates

Cloudflare processes network information, including IP address, to deliver and protect the site. When regional pricing loads, the site receives an approximate city, country, state name, and state code derived by Cloudflare. CalcCaddy’s location endpoint does not return the visitor’s IP address. If you select a different state, that choice may be saved in your browser’s local storage.

Operational and analytics data

Hosting and security providers may keep technical logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site. CalcCaddy uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand general site traffic and page performance. Cloudflare provides aggregated measurements designed without cross-site tracking or visitor profiles.

CalcCaddy also records anonymous counters when someone chooses Calculate, Print, Copy, or Share. Each counter contains only the calculator name and the action type. Measurements entered into a calculator, calculated answers, IP addresses, location details, account identifiers, and user identifiers are not written to this usage dataset.

Shared estimate links

When you copy or share an estimate, CalcCaddy can place the current calculator inputs in the fragment portion of the link—the part after the #. Browsers do not send that fragment to CalcCaddy’s server. Anyone you choose to give the link to can see and change the included inputs.

Advertising

CalcCaddy may use Google AdSense to display advertising. When advertising is active, Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage, device information, IP addresses, and activity on this site to select, deliver, measure, and prevent fraud involving ads. Where required, visitors will be shown a consent message before advertising cookies are used. You can learn more about how Google uses information for advertising and manage advertising preferences through Google My Ad Center.

External links and future changes

Links to government, standards, manufacturer, and other third-party sites are governed by those sites’ privacy practices. This policy will be updated when CalcCaddy’s services or data practices materially change.
